Individual Therapy
Being labeled as an "outsider" or positioned at the margins of society can have a harmful impact on how people view themselves and their relationship to the world around them. The therapeutic relationship can be an important space for individuals to obtain support in overcoming life's challenges. My approach to therapy with clients helps to create a safe, warm, non-judgmental space where they can examine their lives within their sociocultural contexts, envision change, and build upon their pre-existing strengths and resources. I strive to create a collaborative and trusting relationship with clients to help them empower themselves, foster a sense of hope, and find meaningful purpose in their lives.
